1. Sponsor
The Forged Ultimate Guided Hunt Sweepstakes, the “Contest”, is sponsored by Forged In The Backcountry, 1955 Templeton Dr Vancouver BC, V5N 4V9, the “Sponsor”. Not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
2. Eligibility
This Contest is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, The District of Columbia, Canada excluding Quebec, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Finland, France and Switzerland, who are legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, with the exception of employees of the Sponsor, its parent, related and affiliated companies, subsidiaries, departments or agencies, franchisees, suppliers, advertising and promotional agencies, contest administrators, and any other parties engaged in the development, production or distribution of Contest materials and those living in the same household.
This contest is subject to federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations and void where prohibited by law. By participating in this Contest, entrants acknowledge compliance with, and agree to be bound by, these Contest Rules.
3. Contest Dates and Times
Contest begins on May 17, 2026, at 12:01 a.m. PST and ends on July 17, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PST, after which time the Contest will be closed and no further entries shall be accepted.
4. How to Enter
You can enter by purchasing items at https://forgedinthebackcountry.com/. Every $5 you spend will gain you 1 entry.
You may also enter by sending a 100-word essay on a topic of your choice related to Forged In The Backcountry to 1955 Templeton Dr, Vancouver BC V5N 4V9. Each essay must be handwritten and individually mailed and will gain you 1 entry. You must include your first and last name, telephone number, e-mail address and must be post marked before the Contest End Date.
5. Contest Prizes
There is a total of 1 prize available to be won consisting of a custom guided hunt with Mindful Hunter Outfitting including travel and tip, approximate retail price $10,000 CAD.
6. Odds of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received before the Contest End Date.
7. Skill Testing Question
Selected entrants will be required, as a condition to winning a prize, to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, the Sponsor’s time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.
8. Winner Selection and Confirmation
On July 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PST at 1955 Templeton Dr. Vancouver BC V5N 4V9, an employee, agent or other representative of the Sponsor will conduct a random draw from all eligible entries and select the potential winner.
9. Release and Indemnification
The winner must sign the Sponsor’s Winner Release to confirm compliance with the Contest Rules, accept the prize as awarded, release and hold harmless the Sponsor and related parties, and indemnify the Released Parties against any loss, damage or expense arising from non-compliance or participation in the Contest.
10. Other Conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, amend, modify, cancel or suspend this Contest at any time and in any way, without prior notice.
